kernel: remove CRYPTO_BLAKE2S from all >=5.15 This option was removed from upstream kernel back in 2022. See commits: 2d16803c562ecc644803d42ba98a8e0aef9c014e (>=6.0) 3dd33a09f5dc12ccb0902923c4c784eb0f8c7554 (>=5.15.61 backport) Signed-off-by: Christian Svensson <blue@cmd.nu>
treewide: remove files for building 5.10 kernel All targets are bumped to 5.15. Remove the old 5.10 patches, configs and files using: find target/linux -iname '*-5.10' -exec rm -r {} \; Further, remove the 5.10 include. Signed-off-by: Nick Hainke <vincent@systemli.org>
x86/config-5.10: geode: add missing CONFIG_WATCHDOG_CORE option If this module is not set to y, then I get the following compilation error during geode build. Package kmod-w83627hf-wdt is missing dependencies for the following libraries: watchdog.ko Setting the linux CONFIG_WATCHDOG_CORE to y as in all other targets fixes this issue. kernel: Activate CONFIG_GPIOLIB in generic configuration All targets expect the malta target already activate the CONFIG_GPIOLIB option. Move it to generic kernel configuration and also activate it for malta. Signed-off-by: Hauke Mehrtens <hauke@hauke-m.de>
x86: fix damaged config 5.10 refresh Restore CONFIG_I8K + CONFIG_INTEL_INT0002_VGPIO that got removed when I refreshed the config. Each x86 target gets its own CONFIG_CRYPTO_BLAKE2S + LIB settings as only the x86_64 can use the accelerated x86 version. Also remove two extra spaces that sneaked into geode's config. generic: enable CRYPTO_LIB_BLAKE2S[_X86|_ARM] This is now built-in, enable so it won't propagate on target configs. Link: https://lkml.org/lkml/2022/1/3/168 Fixes: 79e7a2552e89 ("kernel: bump 5.15 to 5.15.44") Fixes: 0ca93670693b ("kernel: bump 5.10 to 5.10.119") Signed-off-by: Tomasz Maciej Nowak <tmn505@gmail.com> (Link to Kernel's commit taht made it built-in, CRYPTO_LIB_BLAKE2S[_ARM|_X86] as it's selectable, 5.10 backport) Signed-off-by: Christian Lamparter <chunkeey@gmail.com>
x86: copy config and patches from 5.10 to 5.15 So the upcoming changes needed for 5.15 can be reviewed easily. Removing following patches backported from 5.15: * 101-v5.15-mfd-lpc_ich-Enable-GPIO-driver-for-DH89xxCC.patch * 102-v5.15-platform-x86-add-meraki-mx100-platform-driver.patch Removed upstreamed patch `300-pcengines_apu1_led.patch` in commit 1b40faf7e4ab ("leds: apu: extend support for PC Engines APU1 with newer firmware") Signed-off-by: Petr Štetiar <ynezz@true.cz>
kernel: add missing config symbols, fix typos Update 5.10 generic config to add missing options prompting during builds, when setting CONFIG_ALL_KMODS. Refresh the x86 subtargets to drop symbols added to the generic config. Also fix a typo in 5.4/5.10 generic configs: "CONFIG_CONFIG_KVM_AMD_SEV". Signed-off-by: Tony Ambardar <itugrok@yahoo.com>

kernel: set WATCHDOG_CORE dependency in kmod-hwmon-sch5627 For many target we have added CONFIG_WATCHDOG_CORE=y to the target config due to the following error: Package kmod-hwmon-sch5627 is missing dependencies for the following libraries: watchdog.ko However, actually the proper way appears to be setting the dependency for the kmod-hwmon-sch5627 package, as the error message demands. Do this in this patch and remove the target config entries added due to this issue. Signed-off-by: Adrian Schmutzler <freifunk@adrianschmutzler.de>
x86: move packages selection to profiles This can be rather confusing for contributors, since there are three layers in which they can be added. As for now there are none profiles other than generic (exception: geos) let's move them to these profiles. Being here this commit also removes packages in geode profiles already enabled in kernel config. Signed-off-by: Tomasz Maciej Nowak <tomek_n@o2.pl>
