See commit da370098 "treewide: add support for "gc-sections" in PKG_BUILD_FLAGS" on the main repository. Note: This only touches packages which use all three parts (-ffunction-sections, -fdata-sections and -Wl,--gc-sections) enabled by this build flag. Builds are now done from git repository based on release tag. [1][2] Switch to meson as GNU autotools based build is no longer supported. [2] Update SPDX license identifier [3] and switch to AUTORELEASE to avoid manual increments.
