Remove several warnings reported with W=2

Improved support for W=2 compilation flag by solving some nested-extern and sign-compare warnings. The libraries are compiling with warnings (which turn into errors with the Werror flag). Enforce full include path for includes. Deprecate old paths. The following folders inside include/lib have been left unchanged: - include/lib/cpus/${ARCH} - include/lib/el3_runtime/${ARCH} The reason for this change is that having a global namespace for includes isn't a good idea. It defeats one of the advantages of having folders and it introduces problems that are sometimes subtle (because you may not know the header you are actually including if there are two of them). For example, this patch had to be created because two headers were called the same way: e0ea0928d5b7 ("Fix gpio includes of mt8173 platform to avoid collision."). More recently, this patch has had similar problems: 46f9b2c3a282 ("drivers: add tzc380 support"). This problem was introduced in commit 4ecca33988b9 ("Move include and source files to logical locations"). At that time, there weren't too many headers so it wasn't a real issue. However, time has shown that this creates problems. Platforms that want to preserve the way they include headers may add the removed paths to PLAT_INCLUDES, but this is discouraged. AArch32: Common changes needed for BL1/BL2

This patch adds common changes to support AArch32 state in BL1 and BL2. Following are the changes: * Added functions for disabling MMU from Secure state. * Added AArch32 specific SMC function. * Added semihosting support. * Added reporting of unhandled exceptions. * Added uniprocessor stack support. * Added `el3_entrypoint_common` macro that can be shared by BL1 and BL32 (SP_MIN) BL stages. The `el3_entrypoint_common` is similar to the AArch64 counterpart with the main difference in the assembly instructions and the registers that are relevant to AArch32 execution state. * Enabled `LOAD_IMAGE_V2` flag in Makefile for `ARCH=aarch32` and added check to make sure that platform has not overridden to disable it. Fix bug in semihosting write function

The return value from the SYS_WRITE semihosting operation is 0 if the call is successful or the number of bytes not written, if there is an error. The implementation of the write function in the semihosting driver treats the return value as the number of bytes written, which is wrong. This patch fixes it. Add support to indicate size and end of assembly functions

In order for the symbol table in the ELF file to contain the size of functions written in assembly, it is necessary to report it to the assembler using the .size directive. To fulfil the above requirements, this patch introduces an 'endfunc' macro which contains the .endfunc and .size directives. It also adds a .func directive to the 'func' assembler macro. Remove variables from .data section

Update code base to remove variables from the .data section, mainly by using const static data where possible and adding the const specifier as required. Most changes are to the IO subsystem, including the framework APIs. The FVP power management code is also affected. Delay initialization of the global static variable, next_image_type in bl31_main.c, until it is realy needed. Doing this moves the variable from the .data to the .bss section. Also review the IO interface for inconsistencies, using uintptr_t where possible instead of void *. Remove the io_handle and io_dev_handle typedefs, which were unnecessary, replacing instances with uintptr_t. Fixes ARM-software/tf-issues#107. Change-Id: I085a62197c82410b566e4698e5590063563ed304

Reduce deep nesting of header files

Reduce the number of header files included from other header files as much as possible without splitting the files. Use forward declarations where possible. This allows removal of some unnecessary "#ifndef __ASSEMBLY__" statements. Also, review the .c and .S files for which header files really need including and reorder the #include statements alphabetically. Always use named structs in header files

Add tag names to all unnamed structs in header files. This allows forward declaration of structs, which is necessary to reduce header file nesting (to be implemented in a subsequent commit). Also change the typedef names across the codebase to use the _t suffix to be more conformant with the Linux coding style. The coding style actually prefers us not to use typedefs at all but this is considered a step too far for Trusted Firmware. Also change the IO framework structs defintions to use typedef'd structs to be consistent with the rest of the codebase. Change-Id: I722b2c86fc0d92e4da3b15e5cab20373dd26786f
